Dirty Paws

So what! I'm a dog! I roll in dirt and I run through muddy fields. But I'm a good girl in the bathtub. When the shower head starts to pour water, I automatically do my bathtub ballet: raise front left paw first, then left back paw, then right back paw and then right front paw, little wash of the belly and front and rinse the beard. Shake. Ready for the towel.

Dandelions ??

Very sunny day yesterday, the last of a few days in a row with temperatures up to 24°C. Had a fine walk to the lake and back, past the apple plantation where the grass was very fresh and green. I love to cuddle my bum in it. 

Then a photo was taken, but wait...is this photo about me or the dandelions, eh?

Aaaah, so finally me solo in the green...

Multitasking

Today I thought why not show my favourite toy to the neighbourhood? I was actually waiting for one of the cats to sneak by so I can give it a full barking. I can even do that with the racoon in my mouth !

I'll be famous !! My photo posing by Lake Geneva was published in the Facebook Westie Group "Our little world of westie love" (44K members) and reached 6'100 today around lunchtime. Whow !!

Update Oct 8, 2022: the Likes counter stopped at 6,900. Not bad !

Mademoiselle Dolly in Geneva

Went on a short trip to the Bernese Jura, that's the French speaking part of the Canton of Berne. Lot's of adventures there. Then my family had to pick up a renewed passport at a consulate in Geneva. Here's a nice photo of me on the wall by Lake Geneva (Lac Léman) at the Parc Mon Repos. In the background you can see the skyline of Geneva and the famous water fountain 'Jet d'Eau'. The weather was rather overcast, pity.

By the Lake with Miss Scully

My distant cousin "Scully" lives in the City of Zurich. She is visiting for a week while her Papis are travelling. She really enjoys it here in the country side. On the photo we are taking a break during our morning walkies today and sat on a bench on a jetty by Lake Greifensee, watching the ducks. Later Scully went wild in the fields rolling in cow dung. You don't want to see those photos...and the bathroom after she got showered...
